He graduated from the State Film Academy in Lódz, Poland. He was a pupil of Andrzej Wajda. His film "Memory" was awarded in Locarno '75. "Stars in Hair, Tears in the Eyes" won the Golden Orange in Antalia, Turkey and participated in London and Sydney. "Ivan and Alexandra" won the Golden Rose in Varna, Bulgaria '88, Golden Placket in Chicago '89 and Special Jury Prize in Montecatini '89.- Petar Borisov Chernev is a Bulgarian theater and cinema actor. He was born on February 3,1934 in village Muglizh, Kazanlak region, Bulgaria . He graduated in "acting" in the class of Professor Boyan Danovski in National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1955. He has played in more than 15 Bulgarian movies. For many years he was a member of the troupe of Theater "Tears and Laughter", Sofia. His sons are actors Boris and Peter , the most famous known as a dubbing actors of movies and series. Petar was a brother of film director Nedelcho Chernev. Petar Chernev died on March 14, 1993 in Sofia.
- Nedelcho Chernev is a Bulgarian film and theater director. Nedelcho Chernev Borisov was born on March 1,1923, in Maglizh, Kazanlak region, Bulgaria. He graduated from the National Theatre School in Sofia in 1947. His teacher was Professor Boyan Danovski. He worked as assistant director at the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov" and Vratsa Drama Theater. For nine years he was a director in the Bulgarian Army's Theatre. He became renown as a director of some of the most popular Bulgarian TV series: "Every kilometer" (1969, 1971), "Captain Petko leader" (1981) and others. He received the title "Honored Artist" (1975), and "People's Artist" (1982) and the Order "Cyril and Methodius" (1962.) He died on January 8, 2000 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Hristo Ganev is a Bulgarian writer and film director. He was a member of the partisan unit "Chavdar" and took active participation in the antifascist resistance. Outstanding among the antifascist films was the film When We Were Young (1961), directed by Binka Zhelyazkova, and based on the script of Hristo Ganev. In 1963, Ganev filmed a documentary about Algeria entitled Holiday of Hope, a sensitive poetic essay on war and freedom and then he fell silent. In the comebacks after 1970, the names of Hristo Ganev and Valeri Petrov were conspicuous by their absence. They were expelled from the Union of Bulgarian Writers and the Communist Party in 1971 for refusing to condemn Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Ganev - truly member of a "lost generation" - could wipe out the 10 wasted years. Howsoever he wrote many scripts for the animation films, especially for his son of low Anri Kulev - Hypothesis (1976), Bagpipe (1982), Safari (1984), The Straw man (2001), as well and the scripts for the films The Swimming Pool (1977), The Big Night Bathe (1980), and On the Roofs at Night (1988), directed by his wife Binka Zhelyazkova.- Stefan Yordanov Getsov is Bulgarian theater and film actor. He was born on July 3, 1932 in the village Muglizh , Kazanlak region, Bulgaria. He graduated from secondary school in the town of Kazanlak in 1950, then graduated in "acting"in the class of Professor Nikolay Masalitinov in National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bugaria in 1954. For many years he is the member of the troupe of the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov", where he created remarkable roles. On January 24, 1969 he was named "Honorary Citizen of Stara Zagora". He died on September 10, 1996 in Sofia.

Lyubomir Kabakchiev debuted in cinema with the film " Morning over Homeland " in 1951. He also deals with the teaching. On January 24, 1969 he was declared "Honorary Citizen of Stara Zagora". He died on August 11, 1986 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
